The 2020 congressional passage of a two-year extension of the federal investment tax credit (ITC) has further incented solar growth.  That growth is expected to quadruple by 2030, according to  market researcher, Wood Mackenzie.  Sigora, a 10-year-old Virginia-based company whose state saw some of the most significant increases in solar deployment jumping to number 4 in MWs installed in 2020, is well-positioned to further enhance its role as a leading US rooftop contractor.

The Top Solar Contractors list is developed each year by Solar Power World to honor the work of solar installers in the United States. Solar firms in the utility, commercial and residential markets are ranked by number of kilowatts installed in the previous year.
